About us

Niky has been a passionate biker for all his life, he worked for many years as tour leader for Macedonia Adventure accompanying bikers on months-long expeditions.

From deserts to forests – loving the extreme conditions, till life brought him to Zanzibar.

The combination of his personal experiences with the passion for exploration and the love for Zanzibar’s culture & traditions gave life to Zanzibar Quad Adventure in 2008.

A briefing session before each tour is conducted

Tours

Guests will self-drive their quad bikes on an off-road adventure through some remote African villages, farmland, plantation, viewing baobabs and spice trees, across fishermen villages!

During the tours you’ll have the possibility to take stunning pictures of the beautiful landscapes and of the smiling inhabitants.

What are the timings?

We offer half-day quad safari off-road tours:

Morning tour departing at 9:00 a.m.
Afternoon tour departing at 2:00 p.m.
The duration of each tour is about 3 to 3.5 hours

What to bring?

Just a few essential thing to get the best out of your tour:

Drive licence
Sun protection
Photo – video camera
Cash money for the stop at local shops

What to wear?

In order to respect Zanzibar’s culture, appropriate clothing is appreciated:

Shoulders and knees have to be covered
Long trouser and short sleeve t-shirts are suggested also for comfort of movement and sun protection.
Bikini, revealing tops or extra short pants are not allowed.

Please note that we accept cash payment (US$, Euro and Tanzanian Shilling).

Please note that US dollars dating from 2006 and before (the old series) are NOT accepted at Zanzibar’s banks and bureaus and we therefore cannot accept them either.

We also accept Credit and Debit Cards (Visa & Mastercard), however all cards are surcharged by 5%.
